“Black Paradise”
“Black Paradise aims to create a paradigm shift in the way the black child is perceived globally. The series includes 21 acrylic portraits depicting children experiencing different moments of life and the free emotions of innocence that accompany these tender memories. The artist wanted to highlight the plight of these young children, mainly young girls, in an attempt to bring attention to children’s rights abuse and also to rebrand the reputation of Africa.”

COVID-19 Art Exhibition
ISI Art Community in partnership with Envision Rwanda organized a multimedia art exhibition to showcase artworks inspired and created by local Rwandan artists during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Self reflection, uncertainty, social constructs, and free expression are some of the themes explored through the series of works that include mixed media paintings, sculpture, photography, and short film.
